Role Overview


As a Mid-Level R&D Recruiter at Veza, you will play a key role in scaling our engineering and research teams in India. You will partner closely with hiring managers, technical leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to source, engage, and hire top R&D talent. This is a hands-on role that requires strong sourcing strategies, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver an excellent candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for R&D roles (FrontEnd Engineer, BackEnd Engineer and Software Development Engineer in Test(QA) etc.) in India.
  • Drive sourcing strategy to build robust pipelines of passive and active candidates, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn, and local developer communities.
  • Actively map the talent market to identify and engage with top R&D professionals in India.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define ideal candidate profiles, and align on recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the interview process including scheduling, feedback collection, and ensuring a smooth candidate journey.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Veza in the India tech talent market.
  • Track and report on recruitment and sourcing metrics, ensuring data-driven hiring decisions.
  • Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes, sourcing tools, and market intelligence.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on R&D/technology hiring in India.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing passive candidates across multiple channels and building long-term talent pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles (software development, R&D, DevOps, Technical Support, QAetc.) and ability to assess technical skills at a high level.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft creative outreach and personalized engagement strategies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

At Veza, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
