The Role

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Native, you'll be the technical powerhouse supporting our sales team — bridging the gap between innovative cloud security solutions and our customers' real-world needs.

You’ll collaborate with Account Executives to demo our platform, architect solutions, and drive deals to closure. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a startup environment, loves solving complex problems, and has a passion for cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to qualify leads, conduct technical discovery calls, and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer pain points.
  • Design and present customized proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilots that showcase Native’s policy enforcement capabilities across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing deep expertise on cloud security best practices, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Support RFPs, security questionnaires, and deal reviews to ensure technical alignment and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Stay current with industry trends in cloud security and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure, preferably in enterprise sales.
  • Strong technical foundation in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security technologies (IAM, CSPM, CNAPP).
  • Proven track record of supporting or closing deals through technical expertise, ideally in a SaaS or security software context.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Startup experience is a strong plus.
