Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to build pipeline and connect with the most important players in Web3 and defi. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of Hypernative’s future customers—responsible for sparking interest, generating qualified leads, and setting high-quality meetings for our Account Executives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment, enjoys cold outreach, and is eager to break into Web3 sales with long-term growth into closing roles.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Development

  • Identify, research, and reach out to security, engineering, and strategy leaders at DeFi protocols, DAOs, TradFi firms, infrastructure providers, and crypto-native funds

  • Drive outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, Telegram, Discord, and Twitter/X

  • Book qualified meetings for Account Executives and support pipeline development across target accounts

  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and lead progression in HubSpot (or equivalent CRM)

Community & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Stay actively engaged in relevant crypto communities to surface new opportunities and leads

  • Attend key industry events (virtually or in person) to support lead generation and brand presence

  • Partner with Marketing and Ecosystem teams to qualify and convert inbound interest

Sales Process & Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to align on account strategy, messaging, and ICP development

  • Contribute insights from prospect conversations to continuously refine outreach and positioning

  • Test and iterate on tools, scripts, and outreach sequences to increase engagement and connect rates

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or customer-facing roles (Web3 or SaaS a plus)

  • Prior experience with modern sales engagement and automation tools (e.g., Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot, Clay, Warmly, MeetAlfred)

  • Exposure to or use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Lavender, Regie.ai, Copy.ai, etc.) to enhance personalization and productivity

  • Strong understanding or hands-on interest in Web3/crypto ecosystems, especially DeFi, TradFi, CEX, infrastructure, or custody providers
  • Familiarity with crypto and DeFi ecosystems; you follow the space and are excited to deepen your expertise

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to personalize outreach and spark engagement

  • Strong organization and follow-through—you hit KPIs, manage your pipeline, and never miss a follow-up

  • Coachable, ambitious, and excited to grow into a closing role
