Role Overview: In this role, you will lead the development and growth of a product within GetReal’s portfolio. You will need to put yourself in the shoes of an analyst trying to mitigate and respond to deepfake attacks in order to create a solution that is simple to use, flexible enough to adapt and integrate with complex workflows, and powerful enough to deliver real customer value.

Responsibilities

Lead the Strategy for your Product: Drive the evolution of your product from an MVP to an enterprise class solution. You’ll become an expert in the competitive landscape and market opportunities and pair your deep understanding of the market and users with a team of expert researchers and engineers to identify how best to win at those opportunities. When the data supports it, you will also help inform the decision to walk away from the “wrong” opportunities.

Champion the Voice of the Customer: Become deeply attuned to customer needs and workflows, especially users within the Security Operation Center. This includes everything from how products are typically deployed to the response procedures after a compromise. You’ll take a customer-first approach that gives users the tools they need to protect their organization and create a feedback loop within your team to show the direct impact of their work on customer satisfaction and when necessary manage difficult technical constraints.

Own Business Outcomes: Engage cross-functionally with Technical, Design, and Go to Market partners to advance the product through meaningful product releases. You will utilize and contribute to established frameworks to set success metrics, prioritize enhancements, and take ownership of your roadmap.

Roll up your sleeves and Execute: GRL is a hungry start up aimed at dominating our market. We release to production frequently and product management is deeply embedded with the development team. You’ll find yourself going from a meeting with CISOs to writing JIRA stories to conducting User Acceptance Testing. It’s all in a day’s work.

The Ideal Candidate

Strong Cybersecurity Domain Experience: You bring 3+ years of experience building security or identity related products for the enterprise. This role will require building for some of the same users and a foundational understanding of their needs is essential.

Proven Product Management Experience: You bring 3+ years of product management experience focused on building products from 0 to 1, then growing them from 1 to 10. You already have experience shipping value to customers at scale, but are excited to roll your sleeves up at a fast paced startup. You are iterative in your approach, but keep an eye towards the user experience and a high level of “enterprise readiness.”

Deep Customer Empathy: Your entrepreneurial mindset and curiosity about customer experiences fuel your ability to turn feedback into impactful business opportunities. Guided by the customer’s voice, your roadmap reflects their needs, and you excel at advocating for them with stakeholders. You actively engage with customers, understand their pain points, and balance system limitations with UX and functionality.

Telling a Story with Data: You not only base your decisions on data (and just a hint of product intuition), but you can use it to inspire others to join the charge. You know how to define meaningful success metrics and how to respond & iterate when those metrics are down.
