Role Overview:
As an Audio Processing Researcher at GetReal Labs, you will play a critical role in developing next-generation audio analysis and forensic techniques. You will collaborate closely with our other Computer Vision and Machine Learning Researchers, and our engineers and data scientists to deploy solutions to detect manipulated and altered content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently carry out a research agenda from conception to deployment
- Guide/mentor a small supporting team
- Collaborate with video processing researchers for multi-modal solutions
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or M.S. in a relevant field with a research track record.
- Technical Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in research and development.
- Proven track record of working on projects that demonstrate the ability to build and deploy solutions at scale.
- Strong mathematical and coding skills.
- Expertise in Python coding.
- Strong engineering skills to build scalable solutions in software development and system design.
- Experience in training deep learning models as well as traditional ML models.
- Some forensic experience is desired but not required.

The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to cash compensation, this role is eligible for a stock option grant.
