Company Overview

GetReal Security is defining a new category: Continuous Identity Verification at the audiovisual layer. Traditional one-time identity verification (IDV) was built for a world without deepfakes. That world is gone. GetReal extends modern IAM by continuously verifying who is really on the other end of every meeting, call, and high-stakes interaction, exposing imposters in real time and giving security teams forensic-grade evidence to defend against identity impersonation fraud.

GetReal was incubated by Ted Schlein, founder of Ballistic Ventures, and co-founded by Hany Farid, the godfather of digital forensics. The company is led by CEO Matt Moynahan, former CEO of Forcepoint, OneSpan, and Veracode. Our customers include leading enterprises across financial services, fintech, defense and the Defense Industrial Base, healthcare, oil and gas, enterprise software, and social media platforms protecting over 1 billion users.

Role Overview

As the Head of Product Marketing at GetReal Security, you will own the story we tell the market and the substance behind it. You will be the primary voice that translates GetReal's platform, the threat landscape, and our category definition into messaging, content, and sales motion that wins deals against entrenched IDV and voice-fraud incumbents.

This is an individual contributor role to start, with the explicit mandate to build and lead a product marketing team as we scale. You will report to the CMO and partner closely with the CEO, CPTO, and CRO. If you want the autonomy to shape a category from the inside, and the leverage to do it with modern AI-native workflows, this is a rare opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Messaging and Positioning: Own and evolve GetReal's messaging architecture, positioning narrative, and value propositions across the platform, our pillars, and individual use cases. Keep the messaging tight, defensible, and consistent across every customer-facing surface.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Drive deep competitive analysis against IDV incumbents, voice fraud platforms, and adjacent identity security vendors. Translate competitive insight into battle cards, kill points, and field-ready positioning.

  • Sales Enablement: Build the sales enablement engine: pitch decks, demo scripts, discovery frameworks, objection-handling guides, ROI tools, and onboarding for new AEs and SEs. Partner with the CRO and BDR lead to make sure the field has what it needs to win.

  • Content and Writing: Lead the writing function across product marketing. This includes solution briefs, whitepapers, e-books, web copy, customer-facing decks, executive briefings, and thought-leadership content produced with our CEO and Head of Threat Research.

  • Analyst and Customer Engagement: Manage analyst relations (Gartner, Forrester, IDC) including briefings, inquiries, and category-shaping conversations. Capture customer voice through case studies, reference programs, and review platforms (G2, Gartner Peer Insights).

  • Launch Strategy: Drive go-to-market planning for new product releases, features, and use-case expansions. Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Comms to land each launch with impact.

  • AI-Powered Workflows: Use modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and others) as a force multiplier across drafting, research, competitive teardowns, sales asset generation, and content production. We expect this role to operate at higher throughput than traditional PMM by using AI well.

  • Team Building (Future): As the function matures, recruit, hire, and lead a product marketing team that owns the full PMM remit at scale.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, ideally including time at an early-stage or growth-stage B2B software company.

  • Cybersecurity industry experience required. Identity security, IAM, fraud, or IDV experience strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional writer. You can produce a clean solution brief, a tight executive narrative, and a sharp tweet with equal fluency.

  • Strong competitive instinct. You enjoy taking apart competitors and finding the wedge.

  • Comfortable going deep on product architecture and technical concepts with engineering and with technical buyers (CISOs, IAM architects, fraud leaders).

  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tools for writing, research, and workflow automation. You should have opinions about how to use them well and be ready to show your work.

  • Track record of partnering effectively with sales leadership to drive enablement outcomes that show up in win rates and ramp time.

  • Ability to operate independently as an IC while building toward leading a team.

  • Bonus: experience with Gartner or Forrester analyst relations, category creation, or messaging in an emerging space.

Location and Travel

This role is remote within the United States. Travel expectations are minimal (less than 10%), primarily for occasional team offsites, key conferences, and customer or analyst meetings.

Compensation and Benefits

This role includes a competitive base salary, a stock option grant, and full benefits.

GetReal is an equal opportunity employer.
