Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a sales Engineer. You’ll be a technical face of the company in the field: owning pre-sales technical engagements, designing and executing POCs, helping shape product direction from customer feedback, and enabling the sales team to close complex enterprise deals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, product demos, architecture reviews, and hands-on POCs
- Translate customer requirements into solution architectures and clear implementation plans.
- Develop technical collateral: demo scripts, integration guides, reference architectures, and FAQs.
- Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, estimate implementation effort, and build win strategies.
- Drive post-POC adoption handoffs with Customer Success / Professional Services.
- Triage customer technical questions and feed product/engineering with prioritized feature requests from the field.
- Own technical enablement for the sales organization.
Must-have qualifications
- 4+ years in pre-sales / solutions engineering for B2B security SaaS
- Strong understanding of security tooling and concepts
- Hands-on with cloud platforms
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills (from engineers to CISOs).
- Fast learner, customer-centric, comfortable in ambiguous startup environments.
KPIs
- POC success rate, contribution to closed-won deals, average time-to-POC, enablement metrics (ramp time for SDR/AE), customer satisfaction during evaluation.
